We are always excited to hear from curious, kind, creative, and dedicated individuals who want to join an inclusive and supportive scientific team.
Undergraduate

The Agrawal lab welcomes undergrads who would like to work in the lab during the school year, or full time during the summer or after graduating. Please email Sweta a CV and a brief explanation of why you are interested in the lab.
Graduate
Students
Prospective students should apply to Virginia Tech's Neuroscience PhD Program. Please email Sweta for more details or with any questions.
Postdoctoral
Fellows
Prospective postdocs should send their CV, the names of 3 references, and a relevant publication or manuscript (preprints welcome!) to Sweta. Please also include a brief description of why you are interested in the lab and your future scientific or professional goals.
Mentoring philosophy
I will support and work with lab members to imagine, plan for, and achieve their individual career goals while contributing to the scientific pursuit. Towards this end, I will do my best to help all lab members get access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. If I don’t know the answers, I will connect you with someone who can help. Beyond planning for the future, I will always be available to talk about the fun and exciting parts of science or the serious moments too. Finally, mentoring is a dynamic relationship and one that will grow and change as the needs of both the mentor and mentee change. As a result, I welcome feedback and will regularly schedule opportunities for more structured feedback and evaluation. Note: The Agrawal lab is a new lab, which means that trainees will benefit from a lot of hands-on mentorship!
